One of my favourite stats FWIW.

Another one I love is Bulldogs won 10 from 12 without Galvin (83%) and won 6 from 14 with him (42%).

He actually looked lost yesterday. If it wasnt for Preston running off him, he would have had almost zero impact yesterday.........Im loving it to be honest.
Every playmaker 'looks lost' chasing a 30 point deficit. Merkins used to say it about Moses trying to get our attack to keep up with points conceded by our defence. There's not really much for playmakers to do while they're waiting for the opposition defence to tire. Cleary doesn't take any chances, he just tucks the ball under his arm and runs, while his team accumulates possession.

Apart from that short ball he had no impact.. but for some reason everyone still creamed themselves over him....
He got a try and two TAs, and defended at 94% effectiveness in a game where his teammates missed 48 tackles. I hope he fails in his career, but he was one of the few Dogs who could hold his head up yesterday.

He was rocks and diamonds most the game. More rocks but at sametime their most dangerous player.
The issue for him is. He doesn't have the physical toughness of the other young 5/8 Blaize or Strange who hit like a hammer. Or the acceleration or footwork either. His boot isn't exactly long just standard. He posseses a great passing game. He is definitely talented. Unsure about greatest junior ever.

He also kicked the ball out on the full didn't do much in the first half even though they were mainly going down his side. Threw the ball to no one multiple times.

He is a 5/8 that's it he needs a ball playing half with him who controls the game.

Because he was chasing a huge deficit. If the scores were closer he could’ve played it safe.

Well that certainly wasn’t Sexton. I believe the Dogs have big hopes for Matt Woods or whatever his f**ken name is.

Do you watch football games? Do you have a stat for passes over the sideline or at player feet? A stat for turning a ball inside?

He has thrown shit passes for weeks at the dogs it wasn't a one off or a chasing points issue... Same as the kick it wasn't even an attacking kick was a nothing kick that went out on the full..

It's Mitch Woods and yes he looks to be the long term 7 until Gus finds someone else to put in that position.. On the weekend the dogs looked to have mainly attacked down their right where Galvin played they barley used Kikau when on the attack.

My mates a Bulldogs supporter. He reckons you put Woods straight into origin next year he is that good. He's already surpassed Moses and Katoa apparently.

Most of his good stuff come when Penrith where winding down and lost interest in the game. Don't you think?

Why and why do others feel the same?
He's just a talented kid who has followed his dream of playing rugby league.

I'm sure he would hit a lot harder if he came flying out of the line like Talagi. He would also miss a lot more tackles as well.

Is he the best player in the NRL in his age group?

He is 20 years old ffs. Youngsters make mistakes. It's why most halves his age are playing reserve grade or Jersey Flegg. Galvin didn't go into his shell though. He kept attacking and set up a couple of tries. If he had played it safe and taken no risks, they wouldn't have scored any.

Why target Cleary when you can target Talagi? He is second in the NRL for missed tackles.

He hit Savage so hard he snapped his shoulder. He hit Xerri and Burton so hard they couldn't stand up and lost ball.

In 2yrs he might be the biggest hitter in game.
