Don't underestimate Broncos now. Tigers should get some big Scalps too. Bulldogs should make top 4.
Dogs still need a 7, 1 and some middles. Wonder if Mitch Woods will get a crack at halfback this year? Most hyped 7 I can remember in a long time, probably the most since our very own Harry Siejka and that didn't end well for us.

Dogs flew under the radar this year. Like the Warriors of 23.
They had very little pressure for most of the year. Most had low expectations for them at the start of the season too.
They won't take teams by surprise next-season. Clubs will be better prepared
They could easily be the Warriors of 2024.

I’m not really into pre season predictions but I do think the buy of the season could be AFB for the Sharks. He just a machine and if he can stay injury free he will make a huge difference for the Sharks.

Haven’t really studied our draw overall, probably pointless exercise anyway, you just to get the job done regardless. Tough start against the three sides who made the top four in 2024. Vegas, Roosters at home so to speak and Storm in Melbourne. That’s brutal.

Have booked accommodation for our fixtures in Bathurst and Mudgee. Locked in Mudgee as soon as draw was announced, price was reasonable. Mate of mine left it for a couple of days and while he got accommodation lots of places were already booked out in centre of town and price was pretty steep.

will definitely go down for Melbourne game, round three, and stay a couple of extra days to take in the start of Comedy Festival. Always a great time to be in Melbourne when the comedy festival is on.

Interesting Top 17 2025 squad from Josh Robertson from League Unlimited - dropping Tago and not considering Jack Cole for the 14...thoughts?

Best 2025 team

based on current signings at time of writing.

1. Dylan Edwards
2. Brian To'o
3. Paul Alamoti
4. AJ Kepaoa
5. Casey McLean
6. Blaize Talagi
7. Nathan Cleary
8. Moses Leota
9. Mitch Kenny
10. Liam Henry
11. Isaiah Papali'i
12. Liam Martin
13. Isaah Yeo

14. Brad Schneider
15. Lindsay Smith
16. Luke Garner
17. Scott Sorensen

Authors note: I know the Kepaoa name might be an odd one, but the impact he had since coming across from the Tigers in the NSW Cup was massive and I think he could work well in the Panthers side.

Schneider is a waste at 14 Cole, Talagi or Toelau would be better.
Tago isn't getting dropped. Anything can happen over the pre-season but the McLean brothers would be ahead of Keopaoa.

Strange balanced team.

Even if you prefered that backline players. Why would you not play McLean centre?
