lots of bizzare selections there.

wonder what the 18 will be, seems they haven't left too many options - Tonga and O'Meley out, for example.

Wesser has been worst done by. Rooney and Lewis shouldn't be there, and Mini is borderline.

We didn't deserve any players, although if Bedsy comes back as he left vs Warriors he may be a shock inclusion..

Matt Sing announced his retirement from rep footy last year. Are the selectors persistent? Or has he come out of retirement again?

Mini shouldn't be there. Neither should Gower or Lewis, both have been playing shit football.

If I had my way, and I won't, this would be my team.
1: Billy Slater
2: Luke Rooney
3: Shaun Berrigan
4: Luke Lewis
5: Matt Sing
6: Darren Lockyer (c)
7: Brett Kimmorley
8: Steve Price
9: Luke Priddis
10: Petero Civoniceva
11: Craig Fitzgibbon
12: Nathan Hindmarsh
13: Ben Kennedy

14: Mark O'Meley
15: Andrew Ryan
16: Luke Bailey
17: Craig Wing

Players IMO that shouldnt have been picked.

Craig Gower (Penrith) - Out of form had a decent game and Orford had a quiet one but Orfords arguably been the best player in the comp and definately in his possy.
Luke Lewis (Penrith) - This bloke is pure useless decidedly average.
Anthony Minichiello (Sydney Roosters) - Out injured and has returned out of form past glory's shouldnt be enough to get selected.
Luke Rooney (Penrith) - Same as Lewis but an even bigger nothing.
Willie Tonga (Bulldogs) - Defence is a dirty word for this bloke and attack has been decidedly average this year.
Trent Waterhouse (Penrith) - Been very average this year.
Craig Wing (Sydney Roosters). - After his dickhead act of demanding to be the starting hooker he should be blacklisted for a year to teach him a bit of humility.

- Atleast no knights got picked as none have come close to being at rep level, except for simmo but maybe after he has a big one in City V Country he might be able to press for origin.

I have to disagree with you on Rooney. He's one of the best wingers going around at the moment, and it showed when he returned on Friday night. Just look at how poor the Panthers looked without him and Priddis against Parramatta.

EDIT: I meant Luke Rooney, but had written Lewis.

I reckon Beaver should've got a look in aswell.

He's a picture of consistancy.

Slater is the only Storm player in that list? Orford has been dudded...

YEah, but he always was going to be dudded.

Matt King,Cameron Smith and Steven Bell were the dudded ones. They should have at least been in the squad.

Smith & Bell would have made it, if they played for the Broncos...

Well they don't so they are not. ;-)

Smith has been playing well but not as well as Priddis.
