Could this over be the matchwinning, game turning moment that could easily be a 50+ run difference in Pakistan's final total?

Zimbabwe might be a bit annoyed there, could have had a total under 200 to chase.
Nevertheless game very much on, Afridi with the ball could be dangerous.

They should've gone for the juggular and kept their first 3 bowlers on whilst Pakistan were struggling for runs. Until that double wicket breakthrough from the spinner, they really took the pressure off Pakistan and allowed them to pick up the run rate. You've got to bowl your strike bowlers whilst you have the momentum. I don't understand the obsession from captains to keep overs up their sleeve for the end of the innings like what George Bailey did when England were 6/92. Poor captaincy IMO

Yep, and compare that to the way McCullum kept the Boult-Southee-Vettori combination running for as long as possible. He saw a sniff and took the chance to close off the innings well below the 50 overs.

Uh oh... Mazakadza has a brain explosion and tried to smash Irfan out of the park.
Three down now ...

And just as I post that, ramiz raja takes the words out of my mouth and says why did Misbah take Irfan off when he was building pressure and had figures of 2/8 off 5 overs. The Zimbots were clearly uncomfortable and struggling with the bounce and angle across the right hander Irfan was able to create

Irfan comes back on and....takes a wicket

What a counter-attack from Sean Williams! Taking on Irfan himself.

Still very early days but he might be the Zimbabwe's driver into the quarter finals, he's had a fantastic tournament.

Simultaneously we have Taylor taking on Afridi, this is brilliant stuff from Zimbabwe.

Taylor gone, 138-4 now and it's even.
Ervine and Williams are good but after that it's pretty serious tail.

lol Umar channelling his inner Kamran, dropping an easy keepers catch.

Why they left out Sarfraz is mind boggling.

Oh boy! That drop catch from Akmal could be costly

Can't believe vvvrulz is the only other poster here. Seriously, other cricket fans here are missing out on a good contest. One wicket is all Pakistan needs to expose a long Zimbabwean tail

The little guys in the tournament have provided some cracking contests, win or lose today Zimbabwe have been great.

I think most LU guys appreciate that, other than one
