It is great to see some international footy on this channel. But i have a feeling if these matches were taking place somewhere other than Australia, then Fox wouldn't bother getting the stream.
In terms of the rest of the channel:
- Wish they had some Superleague replays on at a decent hour. It is either live when we are all asleep or during the day when everyone is at work.
- I don't have a problem with the panel shows. I don't like them but can see some people will. But they don't need to replay them a milion times, especially multiple times in one night. Nothing to raise the blood levels like flicking back to the channel 3 times only to see the same Paul Kent spiel on each occasion.
- Chooseday night football was very popular back in the day, why not bring it back? More classic matches in general please.
- There are a plethora of existing programmes on rugby league they could air. Documentaries like 'That's Rugby League' and a range of other DVD specials. Eg, Parramatta have a series of 4 DVDs called 'The Mighty Eels'. I'm sure other clubs have similar series' so it would be great to have these shown.
The only reason for three games in one Sydney ground hardly fit for club purpose never mind showcasing international rugby league is to reduce fox nrl production costs I would suggest.
I'm either at footy or work most evenings, I'm happy NRL 360 is repeated so I can catch it either at 2230 or the next morning. Wish I could tape it so I could fast-forward through the crap though. It is great to see some international footy on this channel. The commercial stations are going broke and are hemorrhaging money to a point that they are on life support.Elias is off his rocker. There is no way the NRL should or will buy into a television network like C.10.
Television stations as they presently stand are a dying, hence 10's problems. The game doesn't need to waste tens of millions of dollars on such a proposal.
I always thought Elias stuck his head too many scrums. This idea supports that.
....Apparently the clubs pay the players? Ummmm does the nrl pay the clubs salary cap, plus more? The clubs are the middle man nothing more. .....
WTF is that?!
Absolute cringeworthy, especially the bit at the end
I don't like Kent at all, but on that one small point I will disagree with you. The clubs are the employer of the players and not the NRL. The Club Grants paid to the clubs by the NRL are just that, grants. It may be equivalent to the salary cap, but that money does not specifically pay the players. The employer-employee relationship is club-player. In fact it is that contract, which works in stipulations which gives the NRL certain authority (e.g. judiciary) over the players.
Sorry to digress otherwise, as Paul Kent is a berk!

exactly what I thought when I stumbled across it. Especially the last bit with the fire.WTF is that?!
Paul Kent basically giving himself a pat on the back and taking the credit for getting Russell Packer back in the NRL. Wow, Australian of the Year nomination coming up for the gift that keeps giving..........Paul Kent!
Love good old PK's double standards in this video when it got to the topic of Andrew Fifita. As much as I don't like Gordon Tallis, glad he had the balls to put PK straight.
And boy, Hannah Hollis is annoying. The way she spoke in that segment reminded me of those bitchy, sassy girls that are oh so common in high school.
this is what shits me, kent never gives the complete story, he neglects the bits that don't suit his agenda so he can rant & rave like a lunatic. The Milford/Benji/Bennett saga is case in point, he says Marshall thinks Milford is a lazy trainer, neglecting the rest of the story ikin gave him which praised Milford's preseason under the tutelage of Benji. Another example is bagging the NRL for the scheduling of the ANZAC Test, neglecting to mention the Test was moved to the end of the season under the new tv deal.Kent is a "Kant". Can anyone fine a positive thing he has said about the nrl is the past year? IMO city v country game being shut down is holy and souly the clubs doing. It's hasler, green etc fault. But Kant will tell you otherwise. Apparently the clubs pay the players? Ummmm does the nrl pay the clubs salary cap, plus more? The clubs are the middle man nothing more. And this nonsense that nrl are doing nothing about the country... isn't the u20's going and the footprint of the nsw/qld cup growing i.e. More country teams? They don't bring that up do they? Doesn't fit there nrl bashing agenda. Fake news
