It's looking really good the way things are being done on and off the field. What will it take for Kearney to get the JJ love? Besides winning our maiden premiership of course.

Kearney showed me he is a first grade coach last year. Not just for making the finals since 2011. We have improved in our fitness, defense and attitude. I love our attitude more than anything. I remember when we lost a game last year the camera zoomed up on the Warrior players reactions. RTS was filthy like a true champion after a loss. I saw that in all the whole team especially the young guns. They showed they really care about one another. That goes a long way in anything in life and Rugby League is no exception. Our defense and handling errors were really good thanks to Kearney's blueprint (Process) Also I think we had the best completion rate of 2018 or one the highest. Once we get that new combination and attack singing. Could be another good season.

LOL - more than one decent season - I don't think that's unfair. Plenty of coaches have had one good season.

I'm generally just a skeptical type, wanting more evidence before I commit - there were good signs last year, but prior was poor, and at the end of the day regardless of how tight the table was we came 8th, and then were disposed of very easily by a club that off field was somewhere between unsettled and a cluster f**k... guess that's my glass half empty look - there are plenty of clubs below us that could push us out of the 8

Hard to disagree JJ.
But at the moment I feel optimistic about the Warriors and that hasn't happened for a long time so I will retain the feeling till proven wrong.

Oh yeah, optimistic here too, but the competition is very tough and we are the Warriors... but hopeful we can build

I'm happy for Kearny the man, he deserves it.

The Warriors are hardly an NRL dream gig, far from it, the signing players part being the worst of it, and the dreaded culture you have to repair any time these monkeys get hold of the keys to the Asylum under weaker or to be fair less supported men like Cappy et al.

The Warriors have to give somone a dig, a deep go at the problem, complete long term overhaul.

Kearneys dogged stubborn driven mentality is the least these players deserve.

lifes hard but fair at the Warriors these days, just how a rugby league team should be.

If anyone deserves the fairy tale its Kearney, forced to leave after no pay as a player, it's a miracle he ever came back.

Every time I see this team dig in when they are a man down, and you see that a lot lately, it's all Kearney's way.

Just going back to the Original posts.

A simple press release would have sufficed IMO. The build up to this on twitter and the like seemed over the top. Not slating the good work that Mooks has done in the last while.

Did we sign the laker girls as cheerleaders? Has Bill Gates bought the club outright, ground and all? Is Lapi Marriner going to sing matter of Faith every week at the ground?....That is worthy of a special press conference,

After the Owen Glenn "we are gonna be the best franchise in the southern hemisphere" press conference, I struggle to take Warriors press conferences seriously.
