Neither. Damien Fleming was on the ABC waffling on about how all we need to do is show faith in the current XI. Give me strength.

Watson
Khawaja
Haddin
Smith
Siddle
Hilfenhaus
Bollinger
I would be resting Clarke until 100%, 95% ain't enough
But what I expect
1. Watson
2. Katich
3. Ponting
4. Clarke
5. Hussey
6. North
7. Haddin
8. Johnson
9. Doherty
10. Siddle
11. Hilfenhaus

Does not really matter, draws are what will happen.

The Team that most likely will be chosen:

1. Watson
2. Katich
3. Ponting
4. Clarke
5. Hussey
6. North
7. Haddin
8. Johnson
9. Doherty
10. Siddle
11. Hilfenhaus

We will lose the test match, and there will be calls from Fleming, Slater and co to NOT change the team because we need stability. We thereby lose the next next three test matches ... yet these morons keep harping about stability and this line-up becomes the norm for the next five years ... until we get swept by Bangladesh AND Zimbabwe. Then and only then will the 12th man be dropped for Merv Hughes Jr.

Honestly, I can't see many changes. Ponting has the side he wants and he will fight hard to keep this side together.

I doubt they will change the team at all, probably add Dougie and Smith to the squad but show faith in the 11 that did so well to draw the first test

Angry, Steve Smith is not a front line leg spinner. He is a damn good bat that can bat at 6 though!

agreed - would surprise me if they made any... but I can't really understand it, it's pretty obvious to most in and out of Australia that North's not really a very good player, Johnson has too many fundamental flaws to be a consistent threat against disciplined batting, and your spinners are just horrible...

Hussey too, has been nothing more than a journeyman for about 4 years - jury's out on whether 1 innings changes that...

Hilfenhaus and Siddle are honest... so's Chris Martin...

What is wrong with it?

Khawaja or Smith replaces North. Fair enough.

Doherty was rubbish, so lets get O'Keefe or Hauritz (who has bowled well today) in the side.

Copeland, Harris and George are picked because they are in form. George has just got a 9 for at Adelaide TODAY.
