I wouldnt mind sending an Aust A team to India a month before they tour to climatise to the decks. Put a few of the guys that could/will be playing test cricket in the side

From memory CA did this some years back. Good idea. We need to be playing more A games like India and England do. One lousy match against the England Lions.. wow.. when was the last full A series.. nothing since 2019 before the Ashes I am betting.

Warner also has a poor sub continental record. Evidently he has never played Pakistan either and they are our first Asian cab off the rank next year. Will CA be ready to cut him tho. Warner is on the wane and Harris is not Test class. It appears that CA is now positioning their successors, Bryce Street and Henry Hunt. Two blokes that bat time and will not hand a side their wicket without a battle royal. Excellent choices for openers imo.

He’s played Pakistan, he just hasn’t played in Pakistan. (None of the current team have)

Warner’s away record is pretty poor across the board, but who else are we going to play? Harris is already rubbish, so we’d need two new openers.

Street is still too inconsistent. He’s capable of big scores like Harris, but he gets a lot of low scores too. Plus there’s questions over his footwork.

Absolutely. Get them on the next possible v probables under 23 red/pink/white ball tour to the subcontinent in a 15 match series against the lions. Sack Warner and Harris and replace them with Chris Tremain and his brother .
