I've noticed the way the ball behaves for pink-ball tests at the Gabba has been different from pink-ball tests held at Adelaide Oval.
- At Adelaide Oval - as well as the one-off pink-ball tests held at Perth and Hobart - the ball moved around a lot after sunset, regardless of whether it is old or new.
- At the Gabba (especially observed during the test last year vs West Indies, and also the test vs Pakistan in 2016 when they nearly chased down 490 in the 4th innings), the ball only moves around when it's hard. Once it goes soft, it doesn't do much, even at night.
