What a complete waste of everyones time this series is.

A lot of people have been saying that about New Zealand series for years. There's been series where NZ has been fairly woeful. I think the attraction with Zimbabwe is that they have produced good cricketers in the past - Streak, Andy Flower, Goodwin come to mind... Bangas have only really produced Shakib who's of any consistent value. The issue with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh is a weak first class system and the political infighting.

Oram going to 3 was probably more in the context of this game. I doubt he's set for a future move there.

Big score for Nicol. I'd love to see him do something against formidable opposition before I change my position on him.

I dare say the promotion is more to do with the powerplay being enforced earlier.

Mt Roskill. First week of the 2-dayer he flayed about 160, can bat a bit too. Took about 7 or 8 wickets as well lol.
