Don't think India have gone that far ahead yet.
All four of those teams are on par imo, any one of them can win it.

If the SFs end up being:

New Zealand vs South Africa
Australia vs India

...it's an even-money bet IMO. Anyone of those four teams can win it, and will depend who turns up on the day twice to hold the World Cup.

Regarding the pitch, Sydney is due for several days of rain over the next week, and that could lead to one of the renown underprepared SCG pitches reminiscent from the '90s which offer seam, swing and spin, resulting in a preferable lower-scoring match. A bowler like Starc would be absolutely lethal in those conditions:

Looks like the Indian supporters snapped up the remaining tickets of the 2nd SF at the SCG, which is now sold-out.

I'm glad I grabbed tickets to the semi at the SCG last September.
