Clarke came in when we had slowed our rate and had to go the tonk.

Warner got out cheaply but at least he didn't waste nearly half the balls for just 81 and then get out when we needed him to kick on. If you can't see how poorly finch batted on a belter of a pitch you have no idea.

They failed no doubt but in this day and age run rate is king, Finch's strike rate was criminal on this flat deck, don't forget we also took the early power play because he was getting so bogged down

Blaming the middle order for his go slow is laughable. We scored 329 and his SR was just 69, they all came in under pressure because he was batting so slowly.


Have a look at how East India are doing it and yet Finch could barely get it off the cut stuff till the 20th over.

They're increasing it with ease, taking TheFinisher to the cleaners.
It's not over but it needs a massive swing to change this at the moment.
