He singled out Dhawan personally? What a prick.

In my opinion his own non-performance was far more damaging, he literally squashed any chance of a comeback win by blocking it out and ordering everyone else to take risks.

I really can't stand this overrated hack.

Can't believe he had a go at Dhawan. Yes, it was a rash shot that got Dhawan out, but at least he scored 45 with a strike-rate of 109.

Dhoni was casually running well-timed singles when the required run-rate was already over 12 , and then still kept the well-timed singles going when the required run-rate was up to 16, whilst the commentators were blowing smoke up his arse for some unknown reason. If that was any other Australian player, I guarantee you the commentators would be wondering what the hell was going on. And then that run out:lol:....he didn't even try to dive or ground the bat.

One of the most bizarre innings in a knock-out/elimination match I've ever seen in 20yrs of following cricket. And to think that India put a lot of emphasis on the World Cup...I would have to think a lot of Indian supporters at the game tonight must've been sitting in disbelief whilst Dhoni remained 'cool, calm and casual'. It was like your neighbour's house was on fire and you yelled out at him to let him know, only for the response from his living room to be "Oh, that's ok. The fire will put itself out"

And it doesn't matter what ground he's on... He has power to smash it in to the top tier at the MCG.

Although the MCG boundary ropes are longer than Eden Park, it is mainly the horizontal/square boundaries at the MCG that are long. In the days before ropes, the MCG was a very large ground as a whole - as was the case when Lance Cairns hit six 6s back in the early '80s - and batsmen regularly ran 4 runs. However, the vertical boundary rope down the ground is only 65m from the centre of the pitch (i.e. 74m from the batting crease) compared to the maximum 82m (91m from the batting crease) that is allowed by the ICC.

Don't need a graph mate we've watched the Aussies do it plenty of times.
I Don't think the MCG holds any particular fear for us.... In fact I'd say we relish playing there.

The only reason it's not familiar to us is because you guys never want to play us there... Because we don't draw as much interest.

But we have as good a recent record at the MCG as any ground... I think I heard somewhere that we've won 3 of our last 5 ODI's against Australia at the MCG.

I don't know how useful that stat is though... Because we haven't played at the MCG since an old Chappel-Hadlee game years ago where Ironically enough Grant Elliot guided us home against you guys...

Interesting that Sportsbet has Australia as comfortable favourites (don't think I'm allowed to post the odds in this forum)

okay so the Indian cricket team played like the Indian cricket team.
spineless, prideless and gutless just like their captain

I will try to be humble....

See you Sunday kiwis.

Virat will have a Kleenex ready if you do not get there.

Reject it.

also finchs innings was woeful.
he would have been shitting himself at the 10 over mark when India was batting.
he got away with it though.
still doesn't excuse his ineptitude.
one of the most over rated players in world cricket.
Clarke also very unreliable when the heat gets turned up.

f**k humble.

f**k you BCCI..

Bring it Kiwis, the best two got there.

May the best win.

Both Warner and Williamson need to fire.

The best result, Indians who will be there will cheer the kiwis.

With Virats tears, which taste sweet.

Will not enjoy the kiwi ones.

But well played.

See you @ the drop in pitch road, f**king VFL.

Finch scored 81 and we won by 95. So he was the difference you could say.

Bit lame by Dhoni to blame Dhawan - in saying that, Dhawan probably feels pretty bad about his dismissal in that situation anyway

merkin move by Dhoni. How about leading from the front and putting a bit of effort in when you're running between wickets?

Finch is mediocre and overrated, but nothing wrong with his innings

Finch is one of the worst starters I've ever seen, worse footwork than Watson and he is terrible off his pads as his head is generally outside off stump, awful technique.

Smudger is in some rare form, he just makes batting look so easy.

I'd really like to see Marsh replace Watson but wont happen as our selectors have manlub for him.

You have to worry about India, played brilliantly through out the series but did they even try to win last night ?

Maybe we shouldn't under rate our bowlers, that was some of the best team bowling I've ever seen and Haze just keeps getting better.
