I'm sick of hearing how talented Marsh is. If he's so talented you'd think he would have at least got a start in one innings out of, what, seven innings?

Glad I wasn't the only person thinking that. Don't want to see any bloody Indians dancing during cricket coverage. They should go and audition for a Bollywood movie for all I care.

So we've got Indian dancers here and at Sydney they played that f**king Indian trumpet.

I'm surprised they didn't mow the field in the shape of India.

Channel 9 Moneyball ratings:

- marsh = 80
- Hogg = 75

Think the formula is broken fellas

Things that give me the green apple splatters about T20 cricket coverage:

1) The Indian trumpet that you mentioned (they also did that at the kickoff of every Rugby World Cup match). Bloody annoying! They can play it whilst I'm eating my Masala Dosa at Surry Hills, but it definitely doesn't belong at any sporting match, period! Feel sorry for all those Union supporters last year in NZ.

2) Dancers/cheerleaders. Pointless and don't add anything to the match. People trying to stoop as low as they can for their 15 minutes of fame. Maybe the BCCI tried to file a lawsuit against CA for being racist if they didn't allow them to share "cultural heritage", and CA bowed to them

3) Playing music at the end of every ball. OK! I KNOW they're trying to appeal to the younger crowd and non-cricket purists, but they play the same songs over and over again , and after every ball is overkill. IF they want music, it should be at the end of over. The music is another story...How many times did I hear the beginning of the song "1901" by Phoenix during the BBL? Also, that song by Gary Glitter? (which I know some of you mentioned in another thread) Come on!

4) That "AYYYYYYYYYYYY OH!" they play over the loudspeaker and the crowd repeats it...what's that all about????? Can someone explain this to me? I've heard that in EVERY T20 match I've watched that was held in Australia (international or domestic)

Is the sound out of synch on your coverage?

I'm not convinced with this kumar's action. Its got a kink in it IMO.

Really? I haven't noticed that. If you said that about Saeed Ajmal's action, I could definitely see your point. I'll pay attention to it next time he's bowling.

I know this from experience. I went to the T20 games vs England (2007) and New Zealand (2009) at the SCG and the LOUD BLARING music at the end of EVERY ball during the innings did my head in. It was a much welcome reprieve when the 10 min intermission arrived. If I want to expose myself to that sort of thing, I'd just go to a concert at the Hordern Pavillion. Otherwise, it's a cricket game as far as I'm concerned, not a rock concert
