Aside from Bell the England batsmen are either looking passed it or not ready for this level of competition.

For a neutral it is a little disappointing as the series may fade out towards the end once it becomes a foregone conclusion, much like the series earlier in England. Always better to see a close contest to the end.

Understandably, I'm sure the Aussies won't complain if they run through them for 5 games though.

Yep, I agree, I think they should bat.

They're on fire at the moment, but eventually through their second innings there will be lull in the match & fatigue will really set in.

this

bat another 2 1/2 to 3 sessions, set the poms a carrot of 650-700 odd to win it :)

I also don't want our bowlers bowling two innings in a row with another test right around the corner. If they put up even a small amount of resistance we could be in the field for 2 full days in a row. The last thing we need is for someone to break down as we clean up their tail while 250 in front.

yup tell our bowlers to rest up for the rest of today and tonight, get ready to rip in an hour before lunch tomorrow

I feel so sorry for Monty, he is getting behind them and getting hit, unlike his counterparts who backed away and got out

Monty is a genuine 11, his average is around 5.5
