if we were going to win this test we needed to make use of the conditions and get into them early.

Well the cattle is another argument. But as to scoreboard pressure not being an issue we'll see when NZ bat.

All you can do is put the runs on the board and then ask the opposition to be good enough to match you. It was extremely long odds we were going to smash through the Australia top order on morning one on a flat deck.
