I missed the first hour and a half of this session and when I got a look at the score I couldn't believe it. How woeful. Steyn is the kind of bowler who will come back at you after not going too well, so I'm looking forward to seeing him really fire. Tahir is just going for too many at the moment and needs to be taken out of the attack so we can have a few maidens in a row to get things back on track. I wanted Elgar in ahead of Faf, but I understood the decision to play Faf as he is the stronger batsman and Adelaide ... road. Perhaps Elgar should have been in instead of Tahir *sigh*

Michael Clarke MUST promote himself to number 3.

We simply cannot keep reducing ourselves to 3/50. We need some stabiltiy after losing that first early wicket.

Ugh, please no. The Muss/Clarke combo is one of the few things consistently firing in our batting at the moment, we shouldn't be looking to change that. Lets find some stability in our top order without destabilizing our middle order.

Realistically, clearing out Ponting and putting a non-Victorian at 3 would probably go a long way to solving the problem.

Instead of starting with his best bowler after the break Fatboy Smith bowled everyone bar Steyn, he only came on after Warner and Clarke had murdered them everywhere. He even waited to bring him on until Huss had got a sighter and was double figures. Someone should tell him he is not captaining against captain Clueless anymore we finally have a real skipper.

He'd easily average 40+ batting at 4 and onwards.

still prefer Clarkie at 3, too many wickets falling at the top for mine and we need to stop the rot and we'll get more out if Watsons bowling if he doesn't have to open or bat at 3
