Back in our Golden Era, I used to have some sympathy for the teams were ground into the dirt.

But honestly I want to see us THRASH the Saffas here.

I'm sure this point has been made plenty of times , but Clarke simply must start playing at no.3

That's where your best batsmen plays , not at 5.

Watson should come back in down the order.

The audio and vision isn't synchronized.
There is a $70 solution for this:

Whether or not it's worth it is your call.

I agree about Watson going down the order. Ideally I'd have Clarke at 3 but when your best batsman is your captain he chooses where to put himself. He's averaging well over 100 where he is now. What happens if he moves to 3 and averages 45.

Don't mess with a good thing.

Instead of moving Clarke how about we find a test standard player number 3. And QuinTard is not the answer.

I'd say#4 for both... Watson at 3 and Clarke at 4 would be good - Clarke has never really seemed a #3 to me, if he has a weakness (not sure he does atm) it's against a moving ball, and short-pitched stuff...

The Jaapies aren't having much luck though...

I never thought of him as a no.3 either , but he's proving to be a big century maker.

In those innings he's facing a variety of bowlers and the new ball.

At the very least though he needs to move to no.4.

With Clarke though, is it a case of "If it ain't broke..."?

It's most certainly not broke... and cricketers can be creatures of habit, you wouldn't want to mess with him at the moment

FWIW, Chappell is right about the runner issue, Kallis should be allowed one, will be interesting to see what happens, guess he might bat low if needed

Another option would be buying a digital radio for about $100 and pausing it to sync manually.
