Call in some beat-off league specialists for the next test, make sure they're composed in the nets too.

Aaron Finch has been playing well in the Ryobi Cup. I think he's the answer.

Not sure if his net forms any good though....

Warner is something else when he is on fire, whether he is a Test opener (or even batsman) is another story.

Good ball from Kallis tbh (as was the one from Morkel to get Quiney).

Any shield cricket between now and Perth? Perfect time for Khawaja to make runs again

FMD it's hard to watch this happen to Punter. Such a champion player and pretty much unparalleled career but this is tainting his legacy

Pontings dismissal there reminded me of Gatting getting out to Warne. Just a image of a batsman past his best with no idea what happened.

Ponting getting the axe has to be done. Or he's an anchor in England. Slater is the only one calling like it is. Mark Nicholas is talking it up like it was the greatest ball ever where as Slater is honestly just saying its shit footwork.

Another massive repair job needed by captain Clarkey, he must be so sick of batting with these mongs

He's got no one to blame but himself, he has plenty of chance to go out on top but he is still there. Border and then Waugh were practically pushed out and were less burdens on the team than Ponting. And both have done more for Australian cricket the Swisse Swallower IMO.

Nice 50 Warner.

should have known when to quit. He got another chance to not look to bad at his end after India last Summer, but still couldn't do it. He wants to play the ashes next year, but he is well past it. Probably shouldn't have even played the last ashes

Sick to death of commentators suger coating it when good batsmen get out.

Ponting fair dinkum just missed a straight one there. Yet they're talking it up like it was Warne to Gatting.

Same thing happens to Tendulker pretty much every time he is dismissed.

It would have been perfect. A 4-0 win at home and a heap of runs to go with it. Hussey's shown he's still got it but Punter has got to call it quits
