not yet, I always rate Hussey and Clarke as a chance of getting Australia over the line

If Watson can hang around, don't underrate him either...it's set up a bit like a one dayer, and he can score at a million miles an hour if given the chance. The pitch is still good enough if we are, but I reckon we'll play for the draw under Captain Conservative

I always hear tripe about Ponting being the man for a crisis, too lead from the front. Yet he seldom wins games for Australia in positions like this.

Clarke is the main man, I doubt Hussey will have much impact

Not Watson's fault really, it would be under Ponting's orders to take it slow. I cannot believe the defensive approach he is taking

I agree with him. Get to 2 down at tea, then try and score 6 to 7 runs an over after tea with wickets in hand.

If Australia were really serious about chasing the total Clarke or Haddin would of come in before Hussey.

Surely the Windies have someone quicker than Darren Sammy in their ranks. This guy would be considered slow by club cricket standards.

I just realised that I have to go to cricket training in an hour, so I will miss the rest of play:cry: - devestated, tempted to skip training ...

You'll learn more and be a better player if you keep watching ;-)

I really want to, but apparently my cricket obsession is boardering on a problem addiction (just because I would stay up til 4am with the Ashes). I will re-assess in half an hour whether to stay or go, damn cricket:fist:

I'm quite surprised people here want Australia to chase down this total.

It's out of reach. Playing for the draw is the only reasonable option.
