Bloody hell. What the f**k has Mitchell Johnson done to offend Ponting? This is rediculous. I don't care how good of a batsman he is, but he's a sh*thouse captain.

Tony Greig's comments yesterday about Ponting as a captain and if he were to lose the captaincy, he would pack up his bat and ball and go home.

I think one day, and maybe one day soon, it's going to come down whether we want a top batsman who is a garbage captain or a decent captain, without Ponting in the team.

Missed chance by Hayden, not that it makes a difference now. Been a while since I last time i saw a more streaky 50 made then McKenzies.

What the team really needs is someone with the balls of Steve Waugh or Ian Chappell in charge and to get rid of the old pensioners.
Shaun Marsh is the only gutsy player who is close to Australian selection i can think of.

On his form he is nowhere near close

grats RSA on a great performance.

Australian domination has halted especially with the moustaches as the selectors.

Oh so its the selectors fault the batsman play stupid shots? Its the selectors fault the top batsmen in the side cant go on and make big scores or their best batsman cant make any runs, should they be dropping him?

I agree, the pitch looked a good one for batting even today. No more proof needed than by the way M. Johnson batted yesterday, he was striking it so cleanly and didn't look like getting out.
