NZ 2/85 - TEA day 2
Lead 188

Another 150+ and India cant win IMO, or does this deck get better for batting as time goes on ?

This is New Zealand's chance for a once in a lifetime opportunity to win a series in India.

They won't ever get this chance again.

Up 1-0 and a 100+ run 1st innings lead.

This era of Australian cricket butchered 2017 after going 1-0 up. And i reckon it still burns.

Gautim Gambhir face still looks like a f.wit in the coaches box and it looks like he hasn't eaten in 2 years.

Yep, that Bengaluru test in 2017 was the turning point in that series. Dropped catches and poor fielding...the Aussies really let India off the hook in their 2nd innings and they took full advantage, building a match-winning lead.

Delhi 2023 as well. Despite the dropped catches in the 1st innings, Australia were off to a steady start at 1/65 in the 2nd innings before having a horrible collapse of 9/48 after the batsmen decided to have an absolute brainfart with the reverse sweep shots!

DRS seems to be drunk again. That looked easily outside the line on all the replays they took to see if he'd hit it

Stumps day 2
NZ 5/198
Lead 301

Love kiwis to bat another couple of sessions if possible, then have the dream 11 down to the dream 8 by stumps...

You'd think India would learn by now that these shit wickets really only bring average opposition spinners like Santner and Kuhneman into the game.

The Kiwis have added 30 runs in 20 mins without much pressure.

The pitch is no doubt turning.

But India look flat with shithouse tactics

India's batting order looks wrong. 5 batsmen, keeper, 3 all rounders, 2 bowlers. They are able to get away with that at home when Kholi is not a passenger at 4.

There's potential in their batting but no out and out star these days with Pant easing his way back. Sharma's days in the test side have to be numbered as well.

NZ out for 255

set a target of 359

Disappointing from our tail. Including Phillips in that, as he should taken control sooner
