2 terrible on field calls that were nowhere near the bat and were given. They didn’t even sound right. Sure DRS fixed them but the point is the umpires should be getting these right.

Hmmm pretty tough IMO. Would have been exceptional calls to confidently distinguish those noises and they probably played it right given that they can be fixed up by the DRS.

Glove is out, sweatband if it’s attached to the glove is. Elbow isn’t. It just was an absolute bad decision but the first one was a howler. Umpires should be getting that right. Sounds aren’t everything but jeez they are a good guide.

If umpires are giving those it’s giving thought for teams to have unlimited reviews.
