A Maiden century to Hughes...and done with a six...woo hoo go the blue baggers.

Hughes gets his first century with a 6

Hughes 105 not out, what a gun

against supposedly the new no1 side in the world ;-)

Hope he goes on with it and gets 350

Well done to the young fella. Brilliant innings so far.

Hughes you superstar two sixes to bring up his 100, amazing!

what a star, 20 years old and dominating the best bowling attack in the world.

Gee he has great confidence in himself, could well be our own Tendulkar/Lara.

Congratulations to Hughes .. despite the sh*t bowling he has still done well.

Special mention to Harris .. Is he the new Cronje ?? Betting on opponents to win and/or get centuries off his bowling. First Johnson canes the f**k out of him. now Hughes.

Hughes has been brilliant...he's a completely different player to the nervous kid who fiddled at a bounce in Joburg

:(

Two things strike me from reading this whole thread:

1 - I cannot believe we will never get to see another innings like that 160. Was sheer brilliance.
2 - Were we seriously on the verge of giving Brett Geeves and Steve Magoffin baggy green caps in 2009!?!?

I am going to make this thread a sticky in memory of what was Hughes greatest accomplishment in cricket, and I suggest we leave it that way for the summer.
