his last ton was great, but he has been a bit of a weak link and has deserved much of the criticism. I think South Africa's strengths in other areas make the openers situation look worse than it is. I speak from a Protea perspective though, this stuff is largely relative, he's doing much better than many others.

Rudolphs gone from far too careful to really reckless. He looks good for thirty odd then throws it away.

They've never really been able to find someone to partner Smith since Gary Kirstens retirement. They had MacKenzie for a while, then Prince decided he didnt want him in the team, Prince does well when he opens but doesnt want to open (he's a tool), they had someone else IIRC before they have now tried Rudolph up the top

Prince was shocking as an opener apart from his 150 against you guys in 2009. He only opened because JP Duminy was in the side at the time.

Great ball that one from Cummins, proper bouncer.

I dont like his early test selection but he's gonna be a quality bowler in the next few years

can't believe Kallis just got out like that, but he had been batting poo since he came in.
de Villiers and Amla are gold together (and apart), they'll save the match for us
