If I had to pick one Batsman in the world to bat for 2 days to save my life I'd pick ABDV. That's concern number one.
Concern number two is this is the first time our much hyped attack has been tested on a low/slow track. The 1st test here was quick and bouncy, all the Aussie pitches are quick and bouncy compared to most of the world. This the first time they've been forced to really dig in and bend their backs. The result so far: Johnson, Harris and Siddle combining for 2 wickets in 72 overs.
We really need a big day from Lyon. He needs to bowl more or less unchanged and do it effectively. Because the only way the quicks will do damage is if they bowl in very short sharp bursts. Long spells on this track are a heart breaker.
