Is Derp Elgar one of the worst top order players to score a 50 off us???

Onya Tiger..

It's amazing how good he is becoming at breaking vital partnerships..

Get them out for under 300 hopefully, then post 400 plus ourselves
I can see them getting 500 though

why you up at 3am Locky?

Didn't SA dump Elgar from their central contracted players list today? Was that a case of shit timing or something to fire him up? Looks a lot better than some of the other blokes in te squad.. Looking at you Alviro Petersen

They spoke about that briefly on the radio commentary and it was apparently because CSA are short 200 million rand because India shortened their tour.

Apparently they've cut back on their contracted player list from 22 down to 17

Looks like South Africa have prepared a pitch to try to negate the Johnson effect and still haven't been able to really put together a decent first innings total.

Poor wicket, not conjusive to attacking cricket. No bounce or pace if we can get De Villiers early and rolled them for around 250 we are well on top. If the weather is shit on day 4 or 5 we could see a draw coming up.

India screwing everyone over with their short tours.

Perhaps theyd be more inclined to tour for longer if they could actually win away from home.

Embarrassing that the number one team has a pitch like that prepared. Still, bowlers toiled and fielding was excellent and some of the batting grind was top as well. Nice to see a slow rest for once where toil is rewarded.
