I know Rogers made a century, but that was a brain explosion of the highest order. Absolutely geniused. Words can't even describe how pissed off I am.

What a great Test match that was.

Darsh & Doolan are up there with the best 1st and 2nd drop combos Australia has ever produced.

Well played SA, entitled to celebrate that one (with a bowler down no less) as were Australia with the first one. Bring on the decider.

What!!!

I went to bed with Rogers and Doolan in!

The last 9 batsman combined for 23 runs. Durham all over again.

Pathetic stuff.

WTF

Went to bed last night at none for 80 and looking solid. Was hoping to wake up to see 250 with one or two down.

Looking at that scorecard in disbelief. First loss of the summer and it was comprehensive. Smith and Haddin could only come to the rescue so many times.

Rogers and Warner had a good dig but that middle order shouldn't be able to look them in the eye today.

I passed out at 0/100ish

What a piss poor excuse for a batting line up.

Absolutely pathetic!

I bet it rains all day in Port Elizabeth now

 f**k me what happened, I woke up feeling the worst but after you get to 120 for 0. You expect the middle order to offer something.

Marsh is just a massive dud he's piss weak. Clarke needs to offer something since Adelaide he has been pretty poor.

Smith got a pearler first up and you can't expect the lower order to continue to save your arses against top quality bowling.

Oh well at least BM will be happy dopey merkin.

Full credit to Steyn he got them home yesterday. Wickets of Clarke, Smith, Haddin and Harris, the first 3 probably our best batsman last 12 months. World class bowler. He is in a league of his own, and with the momentum he has, will rip into us next test unfortunately

As mentioned by others Marsh seems to be a bit of a fraud. One great knock on his return, then just nothingness. Clarke is Steyns bitch that's for sure, I doubt Clarke will get any runs in the 3rd test, Im not confident

Ive said it before , a run out in test cricket should be classified as a criminal offence. Why why Rogers wanted a risky single and give a tailender the strike when we had a good shot at seeing out the day Ill never know

Wasn't Alviro Peterson dropped due to injury? he was the one to run out Rogers

SA are on a roll, I think we are out of puff. Wouldn't be surprised if we lose the 3rd test convincingly, it could get ugly

"No, our top order collapsing yet again ISN'T an issue."

Can we stop with that nonsense now as well acknowledge that our captain is in a mini-slump. Michael Clarke has now gone 11 innings where he hasn't managed to get past 24. Will he get out of the slump? Yes. Though where he had time in a winning side, he now must deliver and break that slump in the series deciding test match. Clarke loves the Big Occasion and I can see him delivering as he has done as captain routinely since taking over from Ponting.

Superlative efforts from individuals (Johnson, Smith, Haddin) have masked the concern during the Ashes though after having our asses handed to us against the world's best team, we are finally asking tough questions of the batsmen who continue to misfire.

Well played South Africa. Too good.

According to Foxsports News this morning, Sean Marsh has 6 ducks in his last 11 test innings.

Wonder how long he can rely on that ton in his first test to keep being picked.

Things are crook when we have to decide between Marsh and an out of form Watson.
