f**k. Double miss for both Doolan and Marsh. We just can't afford so much hit and miss at the top of the order. Move Clarke and Smith up.

That Marsh dismissal is technically shambolic for a top order batsman. Goes out there.. Knows the ball is swinging back late into his pads. Then he plants his front foot outside off to a full ball. Who the f**k is the batting coach

Well, time for Clarke to score some runs I guess.

And can we get over this Marsh experiment? How he scored a hundred last Test I'll never know. His firs 50 was one of the ugliest things I've ever seen.

The Shaun Marsh who the selectors believe in doesn't exist. He is a figment of their imagination, a shadow just beyond their grasp, the lost love forever dancing on the edge of their consciousness. He's not real.

The reality is this: Shaun Marsh is a 30-year-old, injury-prone, mediocre Shield batsman with a fully sick IPL highlights reel. He's had more than a decade to score runs consistently at Shield level. He has never done so. That's on him. He should be held accountable for that level of performance like any other professional cricketer. Instead, the selectors reward him for it by persistently promoting him to the Australian team

Clearly doesn't have the mentality required of a test batsman. Way too unreliable.

Marsh doesn't have the mentality required to be a good shield batsman.

As long as Haddin and/or Johnson are there to bat with Rogers I won't give up hope on batting until the rain comes.

Darsh should be batting 6 or not at all, need to address our inability to bat on pitches like this, and I don't think this Di Venuto nuffy is the man for the job.
