I haven't been following this Days of Our Lives drama closely but it sounds to me like Davey Warner - who loves to dish the verbal - got some back he didn't like and had a sook about it on the field, in the tunnel and now to the media. Is that about on the money?

Whilst I think Warner needs to learn how to pull his head in, who keeps releasing all of this security camera footage to the press?

I think you have to be extra careful when on tour TBH... this sort of stuff is great for the media

And given the crowd figures for the 1st test and the fact that, Ashes aside, Test cricket - also known as the only true form of cricket - is at deaths door then I guess that any form of coverage is a positive.

Perhaps we need our merkins like Warner and Kohli to act like WWE heels to drag the interest back up.

Id say he cops it deluxe on the field, more than most. He can take it. Doubt very much the fielders are church mice and afraid to say anything to him ,lol

Other than the AB send off , not sure he has been that bad ON the paddock

De Kocks cheap shot was in the tunnel, away from stump audio and the umpires.

Imagine the other way around? (in the tunnel) bloody hell it would blow over 10 times to what is has
all against Warner ....again lol

I think he should have been suspended for one test. He should have been the bigger man and either kept walking or throw back a funny remark and laugh it off. But the cameras were there and it looked ugly

If I can quote the great KP: "It is what it is"

bring on test 2

What did he say exactly?

No one knows. All we have is a vague "oh he brought Candice into it"... Warner has to cop that if he's willing to dish it out the way he does. I don't like bringing family into it personally but I think if you mouth off the way he does you open yourself up to retaliation.

Harden up little Davey

none of us, or even the media, were out there so all we can go on was what was said in the media as quoted by the players, funny how there is jack shit written about de Kock tho

who knows or who even cares ? all that interests me is the cricket

frankly I find all the media's click bait over Senator Davey quite boring, if I didn't have to moderate all this speculation I'd probabaly never read it

Who reacts like that to crude comments about your other half in the competitive sporting context anyway? Especially if you're no church mouse yourself.

If someone said to me, "SBW f**ked your wife" I'd simply respond with "lucky her! Soooo jealous".

To respond with such aggression reeks of insecurity.

Sticks and stones and all that stuff... unless the comment is about an ill family member or the deceased then I think you need to grow a thicker skin.

Exactly. You turn around and go "f**king tell me about it, I've been trying to get him drunk enough to go for me since we met!"

You can't dish out abuse, whether it "crosses the line" or not, and then try and go a bloke when he reacts in kind
