Kallis onto 68* now.

That average of 55.4 will finish at the greatest of our generation, only Sangakkara is ahead of him who still has a couple more years.

This will be a drawn series unless India really fold in the third innings.

Which makes that first test match 'draw' that much more disappointing, Dhoni won't chase a win and will take a drawn series as a good achievement. Its negative cricket.

Had that same thought.

Dhoni will blow smoke up his teams rear end as will the usual Indian commentators because they drew the series

That's day three down the toilet and South Africa aren't even ahead yet.

Kallis on 78 is the only talking point left in the test, unless we see some good bowling and some rare enterprise from the two teams to try and push for a result.

What a shame, could have been so much more.
I hope things turn around.

The silly poms should take note about how the Great Man goes about batting, he never throws his wicket away and he puts a huge value on his wicket.
He gets into line unlike the English batsman who have been scared shitless in this current series.

Was at the beach this arvo so missed the ton but good for him.

The only chance of forcing a result will be South Africa to gt a decent lead and then to bowl India out cheaply but I can't see it happening given the slow scoring rate

Great Knock by Kallis, nice to see him get a century in his last test. Not a lot of great batsmen do Waugh, Lara and Tendulkar all missed out.

What stands out about Kallis is that you feel he still has a couple of years in him, he is retiring on his own terms unlike Sachin and Ponting who turned to crap before going out.
