Those 2 late wickets put SA in front.

Great to see Chandimal show his aggressive and sometimes unorthodox stroke play in the Test arena.

I thought the spell sizes were odd, but I think that was the best I've seen Smith use Tahir in a test match. He did bowl about half the day though.

de Lange has been quite a find and with 4 scalps already, we could see another 5fer on debut.

I was also very happy to see my man Morne get a couple of wickets, I think this is the best he has looked in the past month. He did however get to open the bowling which does seem to make a difference to him. We did however see some 2 over spells with the new ball

Morkel needs wickets in the 2nd dig. De Lange has bowled brillant yet another bowler to have a 5 for on debut. SL are lucky Samaraweera learnt to bat on a bowler friendly pitch or they were gone.

Well batted Samaraweera! Can't believe he was ever dropped from the Test side.

Crucial partnership that was, Herath did well.

Anything over 350 would be great.

De Lange becomes the 7th bowler to get a 5fer on debut this year. Philander, Pattinson, Ashwin, Bracewell, Cummins and Sunny proceeded him.

Morkel has bowled quite well so far this match, he has been great this session despite the no-ball wicket thing, I was worried that would frustrate him, but he continued to threaten from the next ball.

I am not sure if I can see de Lange retaining his spot regardless of how good his figures are in this match. He has some oddities in his game 's very young so he's got plenty of time to earn a spot of his own in the side. He's younger than me, I don't like that haha, but he plays for my team (Titans) and he is talented, so for those reasons I love him and he just took his 7th

I can't believe Jacques got out like that again. Identical dismissal to the first test.

terrible start to the batting innings, but these two are steadying and will hopefully put up a stand of 300+ runs

Couldnt believe the score after seeing it this morning. Sri Lanka will probably still find a way to stuff this up though...

I couldn't believe how de Villiers got out, I woke up thinking about it (yeah, I'm nuts). How dumb

The wicket was offering a lot of turn, I did not expect that, Steyn took 0 wickets in the first innings, so I am looking forward to a 5fer from him and hopefully my man Morne takes a few, his first over this innings was great and has been good all test, he needs a bit of redemption too, so I would love to see him take 4 or 5
