Sri Lanka well in control now. The tail should push the lead to around 450 tonight.

Great to see Sanga back in the runs with a ton. Chandimal continues his fine debut with another half century. Must give him some great confidence going forward with the fact he has started so well in foreign conditions against the likes of Steyn and Morkel.

Well it's good to see South Africa on the recieving end at home against what has been an average Sri Lankan side of late. Plus bar Kallis they are all wankers. Gives us hope in a few months.

About time SL stood up their batting at the very least is much better than what they have been showing.

we'll recover. I still can't believe how Boucher bungled Sangakkara's wicket when he was on nothing. It was Morne's wicket too, I'm okay though, we'll fight back, I have faith. The memory of this test has not been forgotten. There is plenty of time and the wicket appears to be holding up, we can do this.

It will be a huge chase but I think the batting order is up to it. Smith bats best in 4th innings, Rudolph still has stuff to prove and is very capable. 3-5 are all wonderful batsmen and Kallis and de Villers in particular need redemption for their dismissals in the first innings (as does Prince, but I'm not a fan of him). Just need to not do anything stupid, I am confident the team has it in them, I just hope they believe it too and pull it off

I'm not denying that days 2 and 3 were pretty bad for us, but I have plenty of faith in the team and believe we can recover. Kind of like we did in Newlands

You seem pretty confident in a team that is going to have a set a new record for largest run chase to win

yup, I have faith.

We've broken a similar record in an ODI, not as many runs, but similar situation despite it being a limited overs match. Records are made to be broken, we can do this. As long as the players believe that too and approach it with their heads screwed on straight, we have a chance and that's all we need.
