Marsh has been good but f**k me if anyone gets dropped for him when Ponting is back, it would be a disgrace. A century on a road should only put him at the top of the queue but if Khawaja or Hughes get dropped, then the selectors still have no f**ken clue.

The 11 we picked at the start of this series should have at least until the end of our summer to prove themselves. If we keep chopping and changing every second test we'll get nowhere. England didn't go from where they were a few years ago to where they are now by giving blokes 2 tests.

And if Steve Waugh was beginning his career now he never would have made it to 10 tests (have a look at his career stats, it took him ages to get his first century).

Stick with Watson-Hughes-Ponting-Clarke-Hussey-Khawaja until at least the end of the summer.

go the tonk first 15min tomorrow morning, get a quickfire 20-30 if we can.

If start of play is delayed tomorrow cause of rain, then declare at the last possible moment (keep the lankans guessing)

Australia in the boxseat and should go 2-0 up

looks like sunshine has been teaching Notch how to bat

I really hope this weather and bad light doesn't cost us this test match, if we bat on we need to push it along as I reckon batting now will be easier than batting on the last day

It really will depend on the weather forecast. We can get back about 15 overs of those lost with early starts so in theory there should be about 200 overs at least to play, but if you look like losing half of them then it's time to declare, but if you're confident you won't lose more than about 50 it wouldn't hurt to bat for another hour or so. Another 50-70 could be really handy. The pitch looks good, but I wouldn't want to be chasing 100 or so late on day 5 to win it. Use the pitch now whilst it's still good to bat on and set em something 45 mins out from lunch if you're still in.

They were so lucky, we reviewed one which was out but due to lack of technology given not out IMO. Hussey dropped a soda at gully and they played and missed all day. All bowlers have bowled well.

Billy has worked wonders with our attack imo, even Johnson looks good and is keeping the pressure on nicely. If we can get one wicket we will probably get 3.

its funny, but Punter got flamed when he bowled Hussey but Clarkie brings him on twice and he gets the breakthrough twice
