I think Hughes got himself out by just not being attacking enough. Clarke bloody terrible shot. Disgraceful

Marsh is actually batting OK and holding the innings together.

Terrible shot from Clarkey

Marsh a test ton on debut - put some coin on that

He's long reminded me of North, so I can't see why he wouldn't.

Seriously though, good partnership after losing those couple of quick wickets. About half way to a good innings, but looking good.

I know it is only early days bu after watching Marsh bat I'd be happy to see Punter announce his retirement right now... Hughes and Khawaja could make way for Marsh next test at this rate. Gonna be a tough decision IMO.

Hughes and Oozi did well on a very difficult pitch at Galle and Marsh is batting on a road.

Need to be put in perspective and Oozi hasn't batted yet so he could be up for a big score as well. Kat was edged out for Hughes so I dont think we'll see anythign other then Punter in Marsh out.

I agree with you but will be pretty tough to leave Marsh out after this knock regardless of the pitch. Khawaja needs a 50 because I think he is the one in most danger IMO. Hughes has looked pretty good of late, he just need to make the breakthrough ton. Punter should go but we know he won't.

I disagree, I don't think we should be carrying all 3 of Oozy, Marsh and Hughes full time right now. I'd like to see a few of them get a few more games under their belt before we part with our experienced talent. Especially considering our bowling line up has 2 rookies in it as well. I'd like to see Punter stay on for the Summer before going, and I'd like to see Huss stay on for this summer and next summer. That said, it's great to see some rookies finally stand up against quality opposition.
