A blinder!!!!
He played well, but far from a blinder.
Jason Ferris & Paul Green had better games for us when they played in the seven. They were blinders. Complete games, not part games.
& they were never near the most expensive players ever on the Sharks roster.
If kimmorley was on <200k per year, I would say excellent game.
But he's on double that & double every other player at least.
He needs to be perform a lot better for that.
& I think he will.

As far as Noddy's kicking game went last night... it was pretty poor, but at least he wasn't just putting them down the throat of the Canberra fullback and wingers. Would have snagged a 40/20 if Schifcofske hadn't been in such good position. But yes, I agree, we will be even better when he starts getting the ball to sit up.

LU.com have a bunch of fools awarding the points, evidently. Noddy had a top game, I don't deny it, but there were others who played more important roles than he.

If that is kimmorleys blinder, than god or something, help the Sharks.

If that was a good kicking game, I'm gonna take up rugby league. Theres a big paypacket waiting for people who can kick further than 30 metres.

kimmorley in his own words has played rank average all year, & most of last year. So I don't have to wait to legitimately criticise him. I have already legitimately criticised his performances & aspects of game which are sub standard. I expect more from 500k worth of player payment.

I think you are just struggling to come to terms Millers that peachey is week in & week out the better player for the Sharks. And also at 2/3 of the cost. That is why he never figures in your points.

The scary thing for me is what would we get without the $400k a year.

well matt orford is off contract. heres a dream. wellington get in, get ando as coach and BK wants to go. so we let him. we throw 400k at orford and we are better off as i reckun hed take it

well as i said its a dream

im gonna come out of left feild with my 3 2 1

yes all the stars went well - about time. but im giving my 321 to up and comers as encuragement awards if you like

3 dumas - got through 80 minutes i think tackled hard and often. would of looked like a worldbeater if backer uppers got better positioned. ricketson like performance

2 simmons - got caught out for a try early but that was with bickers inside him before gallen went out. it was bickers error. spectacular and safe under bombs. helped out the forwards and had 10 hitups for over 90 metres

1 williams j - not up to nrl fitness standards yet but geez look out wen he is. i love the way he keeps the legs pumping when he hits in offense. i think the opp knows when he tackles them too

giibo/sully combo has to stay

i'd even stay with bailey/vagana as our best center pair. bailey was very good in this game. had the raiders right defence guessing which made room for the likes of dumas. stevo and peach excelent. kimmorley nearly at his best - not enough to gte in test team i wouldnt think

we still lack a second option kicker tho

yes a blinder

a great game

acknowledged by most as the best on the field

you better get glasses or contact lenses your distance judging is appaling

sharks best by a long way both years

have a look at the daly m points

I think you are just struggling to come to terms Millers that peachey is week in & week out the better player for the Sharks.

well i will take that on board when kimmorley runs out for australia and peachey doesnt get considered

That is why he never figures in your points.
perhaps you need to re-read my first post

and in any case while others on this board have been for dumping peachey i havent

i know he is a very good player

Who cares? Peachey, Kimmorley & Stevo stood up for us last night. If they continue to do that then we continue to win. I don't mind if Peachey and Kimmorley are vying for best player on the field. Last time we had our 2 playmakers doing that they finished 1st and 3rd on the Dally M points table.

Money aside, Sullivan was the standout player for mine last night. Got the forwards moving quickly and made great runs at important times. Honourable mentions to Brett (worth every dollar of his contract) Kimmorley, David Peachey, Jason Stevens and Paul Gallen. Had a great support cast in the rest of the squad to.

Note to self: If we ever do cut BK's $400K contract I propose we sign a personal tackling coach for Matt Rieck

By you & a few others, not anywhere near a margin that a 400k player should. it should be an undeniable result, best on feild, like lewis & langer always were.

So, give me the figures. Balls in your court. His distance is shocking. Too short for downtowns & too long for the repeat sets. Always.

you mean the best half back points.

It is a pretty simple equation really. If our forwards dominate then Noddy dominates. It has been the same throughout his career. It is the same for just about every half back. A. Johns excluded.

gee i think thats a bit unfair millernose.

i didn't bag him i said he was near to his best i'm sure i said tht

i just dont think that noddy will necesariliy be the best 1/2 for us in the long term. i am prepared and will be happy to be wrong

in my opinion he lacks assertion and you need this if you r 2 b able to turn games by urself like reefi said. he is a frontrunner who is good when it is all goin his way but can sumtimes border on terrible if things are not. the lack of assertion is also shown in how as captain he seemed to do loittle to stop th ill discipline.

peach should be captin of this team

for the record i would rate him(noddy) 7 or 8 out of ten on last nite but the 2 or 3 i dont give him are why hes an elite player moneywise he needs to find what missing

im not surprised he didnt make the roo side. he needed to scale everest part the red sea and cure cancer all in the one game to of had a chance imo

he wastn close to doin that - he simply played a good game
