Asi good too.

Can’t help but think Tohu’s return helped with the attitude on the park.

SJ frustrating as f-k because he needs that second half run every time not once a month.

3. Walsh.
2. Lodge
1. Blake.

I was giving Johnson a point until I remembered the first 40 minutes. Even in the second 40, that drop from his chip 'n' chase isn't something a clinical veteran like Cooper Cronk would do, at that stage of the game.

It's good having the name-caller back. He's a cracker-jack. The opposition always know he's out there.

I went up for the weekend. That first half was actually horrible, probably worse in person at the ground.

The 2nd half is what we need to see, but its easy to play like that when the pressure is off. let's not forget that Souths took their foot off the gas pretty badly. When both teams were fresh and playing hard we were no match for them, so its very hard to take any positives out of that game.

From the ground and based solely on the 2nd half id say

regret watching it now, Souths put the cue in the rack and got a scare, not easy to slip back into gear when you’ve become complacent

No love for Tevaga? 40+ tackles. 1 try. 2 Offloads. Zero mistakes.

Yeah, this is fair. In retrospect, i think I should have given him points. I have a kind of bias against him from the days he would almost inevitably give away a penalty or make a silly error or do something hot-headedly dumb. But he's really putting that behind him.

I really don’t like him, but he does bring effort and when that doesn’t spill into stupidity he’s useful

I just don't see why he keeps getting picked. Shows a flaw in the selection process.
Was brought in as a back-up hooker, a position he is poor at. Poor pass, poor choices.
Was moved to loose forward. Again poor choices.
Example. Opposition is stretched on the left. Ball travels along the line till the middle of the field, Jazz grabs it and runs straight ahead into the first tackler. Gets up and plays the ball. Opportunity lost.
Constantly refuses to play the ball correctly, regularly gets penalised.

Seems to go with Brown's philosophy of putting his favourites on the field in preference to specialists. Why sign the specialists then?
