3-2-1 v Cowboys

Absolutely, its not always his fault. The try to KFFL was not the wingers fault, there was literally 2 defenders on that side of the field. If he doesn't jam in they waltz in under the sticks.

It's like tupou realised that Manu, fish and laumape are all ahead of him, took his angry pills and started throwing his body around. Tore in, was awesome to see.

That was close, if Thurston and Bowen were not playing the worst footy I've ever seen them play we would have lost for sure.

But.... finally we're on the board!!

3. Friend - Hey presto we finally have go forward and our halves have space. Amazing what a real hooker can do.
2. Topou - That was the best he's played since the 2011 finals series. Pity about his defence though.
1. Locke - Again showing glimpses of that 2011 form, top game.

Hon mention Laumape showing a lot of enthusiasm and strong carries.

Hurrell despite the try was very average, probably the worst out there. The rest were decent.

2 Bill Tupou - WTF was up with that, bloke was a collosus taking the ball forward tonight... its like alien invasion stuff to see him going forward with power.
My brother suggested something much more controversial but we'll go with alien invasion

Johnson was in pretty much everything positive for us, which was a lot. 100% conversion rate, dude was goooood today. Friend is everything to this side, it all came together with him there. Tupou, I honestly never thought I'd give him points for a game, but shit he was good. If Manu is back next week, Elliot has a bit of a headache between him and Laumape.

He thought it was in the bag before started..SJ showed him up!

We were lucky as usually when teams are down like we are/were these superstars like Thurston turn up and do it all so easily.

I thought it was going to be one of those days when he converted from the sideline.

As it turned out I think this is our most important win since the Storm semi in 2011. I can't remember one last year feeling this good.

Of course over on the other forums they're almost saying in unison that 'the Warriors fans are carrying on like they've just won the premiership!'

Wait till they go 268 days without a win.

What a relief to finally get a win. What a difference.

NQ probably did not play their best game and the warriors defence at times still lacked a bit of control. JT was dangerous everytime he touched the ball but a lot did not come off so we won.

3. Laumape
2. Friend
1. Hurrell. (he finally started busting the line again)

Topou was good tonight. As was Locke. They all looked flat for weeks. Maybe our forwards goign better gave them a bit of space.

I thought Hurrell was the ultimate feast-or-famine in that game. Kept dropping the ball when pressure-cooker passes came his way just beforfe hitting the line but when he got the ball with a bit of space he was gold.

Am impressed with Laumape and what happened to Tupou, best game from him for a long time.

I've been waiting for a new, gun winger to emerge but now I don't want to get rid of the old one.

Funny game, league.

With the Cowboys successful short kick off near the end was it a case of the Warriors being caught napping? (I missed it as was already off to the bar to celebrate).

Mannering needs to start thinking about bulking up and moving into the front row, Hopefully does so at end of season. Thought Ben Henry also played well.
Impressed. Wouldn't be to upset if Manu's out for another couple of weeks.
