HM- Harris, RTS- neither very good by their normal standards, but still among our best

Negatives- Fus, Maumalo, the halves

Ah Mau 2 - hes been very consistent this season
Harris 1
HM Murchie.

Seemed like Roosters were running downhill whenever they were on attack.

3 Bunty. Plays like he actually wants to be there. Monster tackle on Manu was a highlight but he's doing all the other things well. Runs hard, makes post tackle metres and works hard on D
2 Harris. Too many tackles and too many runs took a toll at the back end and it showed with a couple of uncharacteristic errors.
1 Ah mau - workmanlike. Unfortunately "workmanlike" doesn't win you games.

DHM Egan for being plod predictable, the halves for being plod predictable, our wings for lacking energy and being plod predictable.

-1 Special mention for Fus who must have had negative post contact metres for the game.

that’ll do for me too, not many put their hands up.

I think once we had a few injuries we seemed to put the cue in the rack and didn’t really bother with any effort in attack. Aside from the Sironen ball to RTS and the Maumalo disallowed try, everything else lacked creativity

Also have to call out Katoa as well. Still young, but jeeze he’s hitting the 2nd year syndrome hard. Offering nothing in attack, no tackle breaks, no offloads and no meters so far this year. Looks poor

Young Walker, in his first NRL game was better than either of our halves.

re Katoa I actually thought he started the game well but he got hurt in that heavy collision with Tupanua and went quiet after that.

Is it just me or has Harris dipped in form recently? Making a few uncharacteristic errors the the last few games. High work rate as always but those momentum killing errors in our half are brutal.

Montoya???
Wow

Yeah. I didn't think he added anything on attack, but I didn't expect him to.

He made his tackles and I didn't expect him to.

Not excited about him, but I thought he aimed up- particularly in the first half. Ultimately, I had much lower expectations for him than I did for RTS or Harris, so he gets a point.
