I see most of you guys are lapping up this mighty win.
Let me start.

03: Vaimauga. (A big game from the man today he was involved in everything)
02: Laban. (The guy is hurting people out there with his tackling just like CHT)
01: Tuaupiki (almost gave the 2 but that 3rd possible try for DWZ and that pass back to Faalogo was a bad moment)

HM: CHT, RTS, AKP, Fish & Ford.

3. Vaimauga - has been a bit underrated in the shadow of Halasima and tonight might dispel that, what a performance & player
2. CHT - locked in for #6, on defence alone he turns our fortunes
1. RTS - last week was an aberration, looked absolutely at home in centre too

A lot unlucky not to get points, AKP in particular looked sharp and motivated.
Fish and Ford were fantastic. Boyd, Egan and TT round off a very smart and efficient spine.

Webby, do not mess with this spine.

Wow. What a team effort.
You could really name anybody as being deserving of points.

3. Ford. Just can't believe his effort. 80 minutes. 162 run meters (Highest Warrior), 36 tackles (Highest Warrior).
2. Boyd. Led the way superbly.
1. CHT We have missed him.

Deserving a mention. Vaimauga, RTS, Laban, Egan.

2. RTS (Proved the past couple of weeks were an aberration)
1. CHT

HM's: basically the whole team, but particularly Ford, Egan, Boyd, Laban & Fish

3. Vaimauga - when a young fella steps up in Melbourne, it's big.
2. Jacko - stayed on for 80, and it didn't wane. He allowed others to rest!
1. Chanel - I think I'd rather meet Fish in a dark alley than him, to be honest.

HMs to all.

Couldn't watch this live, was in a hospital bed so just watched the replay now. Wow!
The thing that struck me was that this game was won on the back of defensive aggression right across the park.

3 Vaimauga.
2 Laban
1 Roger

HM, so many but especially CHT, Fish, Egan.
We look a better team with CHT at 6. He provides the perfect foil for Boyd and allows Boyd to play his own game, not to mention he hits like a front rower. Girly-man King got quite offended by that! :)

And our bench brought real fearless mongrel.

Huge win, for obvious reasons. In terms of pure performance, though, I’d say it’s still second to our win over the Raiders.

Still, what a game! As with our other wins this season, almost everyone deserved points...

3 - Vaimauga - absolutely punishing!
2 - CHT - we’re a much better team with him in the 6 - notice he came off with about 5 to play. No mention by commentators so unsure if HIA or what? Hopefully nothing serious.
1 - Laban - effort on effort - and made sure the Storm’s young fella Cooper Clarke didn’t have any more big moments

HMs

RTS - looked perfectly comfortable in the centres and found plenty of ways to get involved - good to see him back in form

Boyd - his defense really impressed me last night - the Storm ran at him all game (29 tackles according to nrl.com) but he didn’t wilt - he even very nearly did enough to stop Clarke’s try after Niukore fell away

Ford - early momentum-swinging error aside, he rolled his sleeves up as per usual and did the tough stuff on both sides of the ball

AKP - solid debut - marked up really well against Warbrick

Ali - he still got beaten a few times by fast footwork on his outside, and made a couple weak shirt-grab tackle attempts, but he worked hard, and is a definite asset on offense

JFH, Clark, Leka, Egan, TSS all had really good games, too (hope TSS’s injury isn’t too serious)

This isn’t a DM, but Niukore was Niukore. He drifts out of the game so easily. Scored a try, then almost immediately went to sleep on defense. Dropped off Clarke in the leadup to Clarke’s try, then inexplicably let go of Clarke’s ball carrying arm to allow the first offload in the leadup to the Storm’s second try.

Really hard.

3- Vaimauga
2- RTS
1- Fisher Harris

Ford played well. Too many minutes IMO. Would rather Clark play more.

Harris-Tavita is obviously a better combination with Boyd.

Laban was good.

DM- Halasima. I'm a fan, but he was poor tonight.

Melbourne were so ill disciplined. Still can't believe Grant didn't go to the bin early in the second half.
