3 - Fifita. Couldn't seperate he and Gal. Both dominated their forward pack.

2 - Gallen...

1 - Holmes. Just for that intercept when all was lost.

Special mention to the bench and Graham. Taga, Heighno, Boogs, even Paulo all really stepped up tonight.

3. Holmes-Changed the game with one play that made a 12 point turn around. We were gone before that.

2. Fifita-Huge again, more of the same.

1. Graham-Dangerous all night had quite a few good touches.

Was very confident for that for some reason. But really, what is Sutton's problem with us? Cowboys had a few rough calls but we were shafted several times. That Barba knock on call was disgusting.

Fifita 3 playing awesome
Barba 2 thought he did well at the back and was always threatening
Holmes 1 appeared when it mattered. great young talent as always

HM to Townsend for backing himself a lot. Good to see that we have an actual halfback this year.

Frenzy.

3. Gallen. Topped the tackle count for both teams and made 170 metres on one leg. Was lame after his very first run which he stopped dead and surrendered on. Then works through it.

2. Fifita. Monster.

1. Maloney. Simply because they spotted him in D and he made 20 tackles with only 1 miss. Damn huge for a dodgy defender against the gun side.

1 - Gallen

I was nervous about how our pack would go against the Cowboys, but in the end they were awesome.

real good game by Heighno coming off the bench. Constantly made metres and took some tough runs.

Gal - mom
Fifita

Graham- Stepped up and was crucial in a few percentage plays.

Gallen- without him we don't win thew comp

Boogs- He's a machine.

Maloney really is the difference in this side this year, percentage plays he gets it right 99% of the time. Chad isn't quite there yet and against quality ops he was shown up a bit but has plenty of heart so if he has it in him he has all the great players around him to get him there. Definitely no slouch though. Lewis was trhe other standout for mine.

Half tanked, what a game.

Seriously, whatever Holmes wants for his next contract, double it. Bird is going to be a fair footy player but Holmes will make a serious bid for greatest ever Shark eventually.

Have you seen his old highlight reel Feej? I was always a fan of that inside out stuff he did before he made FG.

3 Gal (loved him smashing JT on the line)
2 Fif (doesn't seem to upset about his brother)
1 Val (if he doesn't score that intercept...)

Honourable mention to Maloney and Wade who were both awesome! And Taga... that's what we want to see! I think he forgets that he's a massive human.

Merkin of the week award- Gerard Sutton
