Sutton gets my award for MOM.His involvement was exemplary, missed forward passes, lying around POB,expert whistle pea blowing.

Holmes 3 -brilliant try and saver on Tumalolo.
BBQ 2 for his points scoring and involvement.
Fifita 1 for his metre eaters.

All Shark's players can hold their heads up.
Seeing Holme's effort reminded me of the great ET in action.Bloody brilliant.

Beale catching that kick was the turning point. He agonised on whether to catch it & knew exactly what the end result would be , muc hto the delight of Feldt who let him know.
However, the Cowboys again quickly targetted the soft side where they had success through Holmes wing earlier & probably opened up their arms a bit too much.
Good play & his redemption for thethat first try he let in was complete.
Good play Beale. Good play Holmes.

Why???

Coz he caught that kick ????

Anyways

Gallen
Fafita
Graham

are you serious?

yes

holmes doesnt intercept that pass, they score in the corner, we lose the game

our energy lifted off the back of that ass saving play

for a guy who plays fullback & wing, and to attack that kick from the inside out and put himself straight into touch

attack the kick from the widest point, from the touch line in

So he should have been standing waiting outside the touch line.......just in case....so he could attack the ball from the outside in

Brilliant

Welcome DTTC

Can't agree mate.

If he had time to agonise over whether to catch or not, he gets himself just inside the line & moves towards the ball.

Yes it was difficult but he f**ked it up.

Could've cost us the game.

Yeah with due respect to Beale don't know if he could have come from the outside in it was do or die (the bounce would have definitely fallen straight into the hands of an attacker by Murphys Law. Looking forward to watching the replay tonight to see why a few posts say he had an ordinary game. From where I sat everything looked a bit ordinary except the scoreboard at full time.

We might not have scored many points but we did dominate field position.

It's a lot better performance than some are giving credit for.

At first I thought Beale stuffed up.. After seeing it again, I think he made the right call catching it...Feldt was right there and 3 or 4 cowboys were trailing...Had to take it. The ball came down a meter from the sideline. It was a great kick, not much else Beale could have done.

Beale had to take that catch. We've already seen this year what happens when you let the ball bounce.

Of course he had to catch it, it was the way he awkwardly took it over the sideline that annoyed me.

I don't think it was necessary.

Anyway, doesn't matter, they didn't score off it.

100% had to catch that.
They asked mini on fox what he would have done. The former golden boot winner said he would catch it straight up. Can let balls like that bounce.

Would've be a dramatic comment...not.

He's worse than Scott Prince on the sidelines.

Perhaps he should have suspended the laws of physics and levitated, like Jesus, backwards away from the sideline?
