To be honest I felt Radio Sport were generally neutral with McCullum and saved their venom for Hesson instead. That episode thankfully seems to have died a quiet death and we can get on with some cricket now.

Meanwhile 3rd T20 on tonight, I actually back New Zealand to come away with this and win it.

It's probably because he's massively over-rated.

He's a very good wicket keeper and a decent lower order batsman, but he isn't close to being good enough to be a stand alone test batsman. He doesn't have the mental strength to bat to the situation...he gets out playing idiotic shots at ridiculous times over and over again, and doesn't seem to have the ability to stop himself.

He's been trying to be Adam Ghilchrist his whole career, and he's not even close.

I think alot of wicket keeprs have been in he last 15 years since Gilly revolutionised the role of a wicket keeper. As in they have toi be able to be able to play as a batsman as well

From memory, the Test and ODI rankings are ridiculously rigid. The T20 rankings seem to be the opposite.

Yeah those have a clear divide between the leaders and the rest.

It's a very overrated game, shortening the overs is actually less exciting on many occasions.
That first odi felt more like a beach cricket slog.
