3 SJ nearly everything revolved around him
2 Hoffman he will be great for us
1 Kata second day superstar

Minus a trillion to Townsend. Big season for him imo step up or bugger off.

I think SJ missed his pommy mate..

Couldn't disagree. Thought Manu went well too, and Matagi.

Warriors got sucked in to playing through the line instead of letting the ball do the work.

Whenever I see the Warriors as favourites I cringe knowing something is going to fall off.

Thought SJ was a bit off the mark which was disappointing. Anyway there's always next year!

Didn't see all the games so can't judge fully, but liked what I saw of Kata and Hoff.

SJ hopped and skipped around aimlessly but can't read into a few nines games.
Expect a huge NRL season from him.

SJ had his moments of awesome, but wasn't always effective. Always busy though. Was great to see Matulino going for the offload so much, hope he tries it a bit in the season proper. Matagi looked hungry.

Agree with Rich, I think they were guilty of playing it too straight and should've gone for a more expansive game, strange criticism to have for the Warriors, almost like it was back to the Cleary days!

Anyone else struggle to watch this stuff? Even the Warriors games I didn't really care for, and when they lost I was almost relieved I didn't have to watch any more.

the women's games were the best bit

I'll second that. And I think most of the people at the ground over the two days would agree. The crowd was really into it.

Some of those hits were gold! Before Cappy became coach I would almost have recommended the Kiwi Ferns as the Warriors defensive coach.

not me i watched all the games and got right into it, even the womans games were great

I'm with you. Enjoyed plenty of the games this year (quite a bit better than last year I reckon). Good to see plenty of flair and no wrestle. The women's games were a 1000 times better than the celebrity farce they had last year. Long may it continue.
