3P Promises

Now for the first item of concern. If the ridiculous rumor of asset sales is true, then 3P are off to a bad start imho already. The supposed selling of the Vikings club for the primary purpose to rid us of DF would be outrageous to say the least.

Ray Price said as recently as today that DF would only be let go if it was at no cost to the club. Make of that what you will.

In terms of asset sales, not much was expressed when the old board sold two blues, so I dont see who Vikings would be any different?

I dont know thw club (vikings) well enough to know how it goes.

I promised you that I would stay on here after the election, and I am here Spider, but my head hurts typing, so I will come on in the next couple of days.
credit to you for staying true and congratulations on the win. your mob have a lot of work to do i guess so i don't think anyone expects you on here every day. a regular update of happenings would be good though.

hopefully you guys (3p and df) can put aside your personal differences and work together to do what you wnat to achieve.

The supposed selling of the Vikings club for the primary purpose to rid us of DF would be outrageous to say the least. Now I for one can't wait for the day to vanquish DF to the history pages of our club, but to sell an asset to make this outcome possible is plain stupid and is letting grudges, vendettas and personal agendas override common sense and good business management.

3P now control the LC board, thus if they wish to have their vision and direction of the club realised, then all they have to do is make sure that they review DF's contract and then place strict and clear KPI's in his work description. If possible penalties can vary from pay docking to ultimate dismissal. They now rule the roost, not DF. If they are as good as the have led us to believe, this rumor is just that and won't ever see the light of day. It would be a massive black eye in the face of the new board if they were to try and spin it as a sale that needs to be done to clear up some of our debt and ends up only clearing out DF and the rest of the loot ends up in the hand of the developers.

As the source of the this dribble however comes from a very questionable individual, I will at this point take it as garbage. Lets all hope that that is exactly what it is.

Surely any organisation or individual would be insane to sell any assets in the current economic climate?

I hate spiders

well done terry - you have put in a tonne of effort with this election and the success of 3P is largely due to you ... can't say I am totally happy with the way our club was put through the mud by the tele, but hopefully we can shake off most the mud in time

btw - i re-watched the '86 GF the other day ... I kid you not, if I were judge you would have been damn f'n close to man of the match

go have a well earned rest

Don't forget the promise to make all players brickies' labourers.

That's sure to drive up our revenue AND win us a Premiership!

Quick duck, someone's lobbed a handgrenade!

It was crisis day in the parliament
The house was hushed and still.
A member rose with a question
“Are we doomed to go downhill?”
“I am confident of an upturn”,
The PM made reply.
“If workers pay is held at bay,
We'll all be home and dry.”
“How true, how true”, cried the workers.
“Let's end this wicked strike.
We don't want a rise in wages,
They can stick it where they like.”
“Thank God, Thank God”, sobbed the bosses.
“There's faith on the factory floor.
And now we've got this extra lot
We'll give it to the poor.”
They filled their pockets with money
And ran with eager feet
Pressing their surplus profits
On the people in the street.
They moved among the dole queues
And boarded every bus
With streaming eyes and heartfelt cries
“You need it more than us”.
Soon all the people prospered
And the devil became a saint
Now the sober unions
Had exercised restraint.
The cities were filled with singing
And the sound of laughter spread
As hand took hand in the golden land
and pigs flew overhead.

Can the new board give an ABSOLUTE, NO HOLDS BARRED IRON CLAD GUARANTEE THAT the FOOTBALL CLUB will be a stand alone entity in FIVE YEARS - (That's a cross ya heart and hope to die, and spit on the floor pledge, with no fingers crossed allowed)

Why were no ABSOLUTE, NO HOLDS BARRED IRON CLAD GUARANTEES put on the previous board?
I forgot ''a cross ya heart and hope to die, and spit on the floor pledge, with no fingers crossed ''
Thats right its 3P
May as well add in a ''So help me god!''

Because people expected screw ups from Fitzy I guess

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the Two Blues passed in at auction for around 4.5 million and after a couple of months Fitzy sold it for 3 million to that mob?

Dont know Ram, I just know nobody seemed to care much on here about it - but it seems to be an issue for some if 3P sell some property.

No, it is because Denis Fitzgerald has been taken to task for saying that he could not GUARANTEE the Eels would be in existence in five years, by the 3P candidates.
Can they give a ABSOLUTE, NO HOLDS BARRED IRON CLAD GUARANTEES[/B] ''a cross ya heart and hope to die, and spit on the floor pledge, with no fingers crossed ''

Well, CAN THEY?
