From a purely selfish perspective I welcome the fact that, at this stage, the Ashes will still be up for grabs until at least the start of the Boxing Day Test.... Crossing my fingers that by the time the Sydney Test comes around where I've got tickets for Day 2, the contest might be "live" ....even if that means England have to win this test or the next one with a draw along the way...
