Smith looks completely uncoordinated until the bowler releases the ball.
Then he looks perfectly balanced.

No way is that conclusive to overturn.

If he knicked it he would have appealed staight away.

not necessarily

there have been blokes given out after a faint one then they have reviewed it cause they believe they didn't hit it

I think woakes did it last test?

Pretty good day in the end for us. Could have been worse had the England tail stuck around.

Could have better too. Needed more from Bancroft and Warner.
Smithy on another planet with his batting.
Big hundred coming up for Smithy hopefully. Mitch Marsh still in the sheds. Look out England.

200 behind

no brainer need to bat all day tomorrow get about 100 in front

possible but Smith needs a big 250+ for that to happen

Overton could be a massive blow, having to have Anderson, Broad and Woakes trundle out the majority of the over on a road of a pitch

This Australian batting line up is starting to resemble the NZ bowling attack of the late 80s - as Mike Gatting said "It was like batting against the World XI at one end and the Ilford Second XI at the other." Think bowlers might start thinking similar in most conditions, especially where there is any help for them

*edit* before some get their knickers in a twist - like the Hadlee situation, this is based on two factors, first the rest of your top 6 are pretty ordinary test bats (Warner some might argue about) and moreso the gap between Smith and everyone else is just astronomical - even in a World XI he's a standard deviation away from the rest

He looked like the only one with half a spine and some psycho passion about him.

Was genuinely pissed when out batting compared to Broad giggling as he fell.

Suprer Marsh will fly into the WACA today with JL atop, do a few laps to get the crowd moist then proceed to carve up the England attack

this is what legends are made of
