My grandmother watched Bradman play in Brisbane once and has memory of watching him and always maintains that he is the best batsman in history. An average of 99.96 says it all really.

Bradman's stats genuinely read like those of a player from a cricket videogame on the easiest setting - he was incredible.

I can't even fathom the things hewas able to do on that field.

Anyone who argues against Bradman being the greatest ever is insane. He batted with a toothpick for a bat compared to the tree trunks they have now. No helmets. Tougher pitches. No ropes to make grounds smaller. Bodyline rules.

And he played a smaller portion of his matches against minnows.

Almost every major change since the early days of cricket has made it easier to bat. Bradman would have averaged 120 today.

I was very vocal about Shaun Marsh returning to the Test team; I wasn't too pleased about it.

But I have to say, he's playing a smart innings here - intelligent, patient, and supporting his skipper.

Hopefully, Shaun can tonne up, too.

Yeah Shaun Marsh having a good series so far. Frustrating player who runs so hot and cold.
Hope his hot streak keeps going.

I for one, bow down to my new overload, Smiffy.

I have a Bradman bat, I will buy a Smiffy one.

Great man he is.
