Chappeli even tells stories about a bloke that played in the 1800s as if he was there.

Was he there when Steve Waugh lead his team to 16 straight test wins or when Steve helped win us the world cup or the fact that he scored over 30 centuries batting with the tale half the time.

He is just jealous that like Mark he is only the second best cricketer in the family

I seriously have no idea why some people think everything that comes out of Warne's mouth is pure gold. He has the most rubbish, egotistical opinions of all the commentators. It's like people who think everything Wally lewis says is awesome when I've never heard him say anything interesting.

He knows how to spin a ball and spin shit. Both very very well.

If they hadnt produced international superstars like Megan gale, heath ledger, miss andretti and scenic blast the rest of the country wouldn't even acknowledge them as part of Australia a la tasmania
Australia's best wicket keeper is tasmanian

So is our worst

Cook and Anderson really are proving to be fair weather players - they have very rarely stepped up when the heat is on.

Talking about them among history's best players grates me; they're good players but this is one of many strings of flops on difficult tours. I feel for Joe Root, being asked to captain a team that gives up all the time is a hospital pass, though he's proving to be a bit of a whiner himself.

I hate Anderson and think he is the biggest wanker in cricket but i also think hes bowling alright comparatively to the rest of his team. The facts are he is a middle aged swing bowler. He cant be expected to carry a teams attack in Australia.

This ashes he has taken 12 wickets at 25. He has bowled a ludicrous 130 overs (only lyon has bowled more) and he has the best economy rate out of all the bowlers so when the ball isnt swinging he is at least keeping it tight. He is currently the third best wicket taker for the series.

Ideally england would use him with the new ball and then spells if it looked like the ball was reversing or their was a big crack to hit (he has been by far the most accurate bowler at hitting the crack) but because everyone is terrible a 36 year old bowler is expected to be both their main wicket taker but the guy doing the donkey overs. If anyone should be criticised its broad

I was looking at the last 3 tests since the last mcg ashes test and besides the year with a poor west indies when we declared on 3/560 (could have been easily 1000) the average first innings score combined is about 1000 runs lol
