There is a tour match on July 23-25 v Derbyshire before this 3rd test.

Hopefully Rogers will be ok to take his place, if not then Sunshine to open?

Neville should retain his spot but they might go back to Haddin

Poms need a few changes

Darsh will probabaly open while Bucky puts his feet up in the tour match.

I dont think our bowlers will need a rest, they did f**k all.

Clarkey needs to spend some time at the crease.

I wouldn't play any of our bowlers in the tour match other than Lyon

Marsh
Warner
Clarke
Voges
Watson
MMarsh
Haddin
Siddle
Cummins
Fawad
Lyon

Bells average is 43.13. Im pretty sure it was high 40s 2-3 years ago

He has been on a massive decline

2014 8 tests 13 innings - Average 34.76
2015 (to date) 7 tests 13 innings - Average 20.84

Bell was averaging close to 50, players have worked him out though.

No changes for Australia.

Might rest Mitch Marsh in the tour match...and I swear if Haddin is back something is seriously wrong.

How the fortunes can change after 1 test. Australia's castle was supposedly crumbling after one loss and retirement of Harris and dropping of Watson. Now they are back on track again and England suck again with a diabolical performance.

Bell isn't anywhere near what they claimed him to be.
You almost feel sorry for him, he's the Tim Henman of cricket.

So are Australia better than these Pommy plodders or is it simply a case of whoever bats first in this series will win cos there both donkeys?

An unchanged line up would make sense. Surely they can't go back to Brad Haddin? I get that he stood aside for personal reasons but Nevill has taken his chance with both hands while Haddin was woefully out of form.

I imagine both Haddin and Nevill will play in the upcoming tour match. Hopefully Rogers will be good to go with some rest, anyone seen any info on if his dizzy spells were related to him being hit 2 days ago?

The Poms will bring in Bairstow - he is in crazy good form - for either Bell or Ballance.

Maybe replace Lyth with someone like Stoneman, Compton, Mitchell or Chopra. But none of them are exactly banging the door down.

Bairstow is a different animal to the one who we saw out here two years ago.

Robson has been shown to be a total myth. To think we were begging him to come back at one stage!

We shouldn't make any changes but I'm guessing Haddin will come in for Nevill if Haddins problems are sorted.
